answering simple ‘Wh’ questions
2.3.3 Give short replies when naming the parts of the body
3.6.1 Read and recognise words in other word games
4.2.1 Write words in clear and legible print
Learning Outcomes : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able
to:
1. State 5 out of 10 parts of body
2. Spell 5 out of 10 parts of body
3. Group C should be able to recognise and write 6 out of 10 parts of body
Group B should be able to use the vocabulary in the task given
Group A should be able to use, describe and draw the parts of the body
Previous knowledge : Pupils use their parts of body to do work in daily life.
Sentence : “ What is this?”

Teacher presents sentence patterns:

Answer :
“ This is my nose”, “These are my ears” • Teacher generate pupils’ idea of body parts by asking them to paste on the diagram provided.
• Teacher presents the sentence patterns using flashcards.
• Teacher repeats the sentence patterns.
• Teacher asks pupils to repeat after.
• Pupils will try to answer the question based on their prior knowledge.
• Pupils listen to the sentence patterns.
• Pupils listen and repeat after the teacher.
